Yet, despite the intricate healthcare regulations and the ever-present challenge of securing funding, our team rose to the occasion with a shared passion and determination. This is our journey.Like most significant endeavors, the concept began as a tiny seed of thought. Many of us, having experienced the challenges of finding quality elderly care for our loved ones, felt a personal connection to this cause. The idea swiftly transformed into a project, with students from various disciplines – healthcare, business, social sciences, and more – coming together to lend their expertise.The journey has not been without its trials. Navigating the healthcare regulatory landscape was a steep learning curve. We had to learn to write proposals, secure permissions, and adhere to strict safety standards. Alongside this, we grappled with funding. Initiating bake sales, crowdfunding campaigns, charity runs – we left no stone unturned.Yet, amid these trials, we found triumphs. There was a profound sense of accomplishment as we watched the empty building gradually come to life with new residents. There was joy in the shared stories and laughter ringing through the hallways, a testament to the companionship we provided. Above all, there was pride in making a tangible difference in our community. This journey has changed us, leaving us with invaluable insights and a reinforced sense of responsibility towards the society we live in.
